Brazilian and Real Madrid's Vinicius Jr has turned down a proposed number change.
ESPN says the executives have offered Vini Jr the No7 shirt, at present worn by Eden Hazard.
The shirt number has been at the back of many Real Madrid legends such as Raúl, Butragueño, Juanito and Cristiano Ronaldo before it was taken by Harzad.
Vini Jr's performance in the last two seasons fit to wear the number, according to the Real Madrid management, but he has turned it down as he could not handle the 'heaviness' of the shirt.
However, Vinicius has informed the club that he longs to wear number 11, which is right now worn by Marco Asensio.
