Carabao Cup Results updates

Ten Hag

Manchester United found themselves unceremoniously dumped out of the Carabao Cup after suffering back-to-back 0-3 defeats in just three days after suffering another 3:0 from the Derby. Their latest defeat came at the hands of a resurgent Newcastle side, who displayed an excellent performance at Old Trafford.

Speaking after the back-to-back defeats, Ten Hag remained confident in his abilities, stating,

"I'm a fighter. I’m confident I can do it, but it’s clear that at this moment we are in a bad place."

He acknowledged his responsibility but viewed the situation as a challenge, vowing to stick together with his players and fight through the tough times. Ten Hag also extended his apologies to the fans, recognizing that the team's performance was far from satisfactory.

In other Carabao Cup results, Arsenal faced a similar fate as they were eliminated from the competition. West Ham emerged victorious with a 3-1 scoreline, securing their spot in the next round.
