FC Ongos' Struggles Continue

FC Ongos endured another disappointing week in the Debmarine Namibia Premiership as they lost one match and settled for a draw in another. Their aspirations for a dominant second round were dampened as they only managed to collect one point this week, courtesy of a draw with Eeshoke Chula-Chula FC.

Despite holding the top spot in the league with 45 points and a game in hand, FC Ongos suffered a setback with a 1-0 loss to Mighty Gunner FC. This defeat opened the door for African Star FC, who capitalized on the opportunity to overtake them by defeating the struggling Julihno Sporting FC.

In today's match, FC Ongos initially showed promise as they took the lead through Simon Elago. However, Eeshoke Chula-Chula FC's skipper, M. Shodololo, swiftly equalized from the penalty spot in the 32nd minute before securing a brace just before halftime. FC Ongos managed to level the score through N. Haikali before the break, but neither side could find the net in the second half, resulting in a 2-2 draw.

African Star FC now has the chance to extend their lead at the top of the league by four points if they can secure a victory against Okakarara Young Worrier FC.

FC Ongos will need to reassess their strategies and regain their winning momentum if they hope to maintain their position at the summit of the Debmarine Namibia Premiership.
