Three girls from Kavango East region called for training camp in Windhoek

Three girls from Kavango East

The Masati twins and Maseka all from Kavango East are headed for a training camp in Windhoek.

The girls are part of the 21 provisional shortlisted U17 players who were selected last year at the Debmarine NSSU national tournament, which took place in Swakopmund.

NSSU has branches in all 14 regions which in turn conducts zonal competitions to select the best athletes to represent the region at national championship. Zone two, as always, used to dominate the regional competition and produce skillful players. Although the regional team didn't do well at the competition, they managed to send three players on the provisional shortlist of the national team.

The Masati twins are having the best time of their netball careers as one of them, Crisentia is  shortlisted on the U20 of Netball Namibia squad at the Newspaper Cup which took place in Otjiwarongo last weekend. The two twins are destined for greatness should they get all necessary support from everyone in the region.

Let's wish our girls best of luck during their trials, so they make the cut of the final 12 players to represent the nation.
