Sirkka Ausiku, Governor of Kavango West Region, was spotted at The Namibian News Paper Cup, showing her support for the girls and boys from Kavango West.
The event, which is currently held in the Otjozondjupa Region, brought together young footballers and netballers from various regions of the country to compete in a tournament.
Unfortunately, the two regions, Kavango West and East face each other at the early stage which separates the feelings of the people from the river.
However, the boys from Kavango West managed to put a smile on their mother, as they won by 4:2 to lead the group stand. While, the girls humbled the Omusati region with 22: 10.

The Kavango West's mother was seen smiling at the young athletes as they played their hearts out on the field. Her presence at the event was a source of inspiration for many of the players and a symbol of hope for the region
Her presence is not only showing her love for sports and her community but also sends a powerful message of encouragement and motivation to other leaders to support the youth.
