Woody Jacobs has today announced the final Brave Gladiators squad ahead of their departure to Port Elizabeth, where Namibia will compete in the COSAFA Women’s Championship. Namibia is placed in Group A, alongside South Africa, Seychelles, and Eswatini.
The Gladiators' first match will be against South Africa on Tuesday. Jacobs emphasized the importance of this match, stating that a victory is crucial for Namibia's chances of advancing to the knockout stages of the tournament.

Jacobs has also brought on board former Under-17 National coach Christy Guruseb as his assistant, replacing Mamie Kasaona, who is completing her CAF B Diploma in Tanzania.
The COSAFA Women’s Championship will run from 22nd October to 2nd November 2024.
